Creator Album is a new PicTomo feature that lets you easily showcase and share your work online. Unlike regular albums, only the owner can upload photos, giving you complete control over your gallery.
This article walks you through creating and sharing a Creator Album step by step.
Create a Creator Album
On the PicTomo homepage, tap "Create Album" and select the "Creator" tab. Enter your album name and tap create — your personal gallery is ready.
Key differences from regular albums:
- Owner-only upload: Viewers cannot add photos
- Support links: Set up PayPal, Ko-fi, etc. to receive tips
- Optimized for showcasing: A clean, simple gallery without unnecessary features
Upload Your Work
Once your album is created, start uploading your work. Drag and drop or use the photo selection button to upload illustrations, photos, or images of handmade creations.
PicTomo stores images at up to 4K resolution, so every detail of your work is beautifully displayed. HEIC format is automatically supported, so photos from iPhones can be uploaded directly.
Set a Cover Image
Choose one of your uploaded photos as the cover image. This is the first thing viewers see when opening your album — the "face" of your portfolio. Pick your best or most representative piece.
Set Up Support Links
One of Creator Album's key features is support links. Set up URLs for services like PayPal, PayPay, or Ko-fi, and link buttons will appear at the top of your album.
Viewers can access your support page with one click to show their appreciation. PicTomo takes zero commission.
Setup Steps
- Tap the edit icon (pencil mark) on the support link banner at the top of your album
- Enter a URL — the service name (PayPal, PayPay, etc.) is auto-detected
- Edit the label name and tap "Save"
The free plan allows 1 support link (valid for 12 hours). A paid option (¥100) expands this to 3 links, valid until the album expires.
Share Your Work via QR Code
Display or download a QR code from the album's share button. Use this QR code to share your work in various settings:
- Post on your social media profile to direct followers to your portfolio
- Display at exhibitions and events to distribute your digital portfolio to visitors
- Print on business cards or flyers for in-person portfolio introductions
Summary
Creator Album combines showcasing, sharing, and receiving support into one tool for creators. No registration, no app — you can start sharing your work with the world the moment you decide to.
