What Is Auto Image Screening?
Auto image screening is a system that automatically screens uploaded photos based on PicTomo's own criteria. It mechanically detects potentially inappropriate images, maintaining a safe photo-sharing environment.
Diagnosis Timing
Auto image screening is not performed simultaneously with upload — the system periodically patrols and processes photos sequentially. Until the screening is complete, photos are displayed as normal. There is no waiting required during upload.
Privacy-First Design
This screening is a system-based automated process. A person does not view and check every single photo. The system analyzes visual features of images (color distribution, texture, composition, etc.) and evaluates them against PicTomo's proprietary standards.
As a privacy-focused mechanical process, it minimizes the risk of uploaded photo content being seen by human eyes.
What Happens After Screening?
Based on the screening results:
- Deemed safe — Displayed normally to everyone
- Under review — Visible to the uploader but temporarily hidden from other participants
- Significantly deviates from standards — Album suspension is available as a last resort
Combined with User Reporting
In addition to auto screening, we provide a reporting feature. If you find an inappropriate photo, you can report it via the flag icon, and our team will review and respond. This dual safety approach of automated screening and manual reporting ensures a secure photo-sharing environment.
